How to Celebrate Hobbit Day & Feast Like a Halfling

 In Recipes

September 22 is both Bilbo and Frodo Baggins birthdays. Celebrate Hobbit Day with six meals, laughter, and good company. I’ve rounded up a number of Shire-worthy recipe suggestions for each Hobbit meal of the day for you to plan out your menu.

If more of us valued food and cheer and song above hoarded gold, it would be a merrier world.

Hungry yet?!

Remember, you’ll be eating every 2-3 hours, so each meal doesn’t have to be a full course. In fact, I’d recommend smaller plate-fulls to ensure you get to sample everything throughout the day.

I’m not a huge Hobbit fan, so this day doesn’t mean a lot to me, but I also don’t mind an excuse to eat food so.

Excuses to eat are good. You can always just say *you’re celebrating for a friend* šŸ˜‰
