A Roundup of the 12 Best Geeky Drink Recipes

It’s been a hot past week here in Northern Minnesota. Yes, we can get some nice, hot summer days, but heat indexes over 100 next to gorgeous Lake Superior aren’t the norm. As such we’ve been looking for ways to cool down and/or stay hydrated. In that vain of thought, I’ve rounded up some of the best geeky drink recipes out there!

1. Harry Potter Pumpkin Juice
If you love pumpkin and Harry Potter then this drink is right up your alley. While it’s honestly not too strong on the pumpkin, it’s definitely a fun one for any Potter party.

2. The Metroid
The fruity flavors of apple, kiwi and strawberry combine in this rum based drink to bring you a fun video game themed beverage.
3. Harry Potter Butterbeer
My friend Danielle from Nerdy to Girlie in the Geek Girl Bloggers Facebook group has a number of tasty geek cocktails on her site. While not necessarily hydrating, they’re super refreshing. Her butterbeer drink is definitely a sweet treat.

4. Felix Felicis Cocktail
Feeling down on your luck? Whip up a fancy felix felicis cocktail to improve your odds. The bases for this drink include champagne and  hard ginger ale.
5. Mr. Freeze Gotham Cocktail
This drink is sure to cool you right down! Just be careful you don’t accidentally drink the whole pitcher by yourself -yep, this drink is that tasty! It’s a vodka tropical delight.​

Love a good gin and tonic? Then you’ll love this fun and colorful twist on the classic drink. Sip it while relaxing and enjoying the movie or the book.

I’m not sure how you don’t get excited just looking at this colorful photo! Pick your favorite flavor or eevee evolution and go from there…or perhaps start at one and try them all -you are a pokemon master after all, aren’t you?!

8. Justice League Superhero Cocktails
As long as we’re doing lineups, we might as well keep going eh? Gather the team because it’s time to have a superhero party. I’d probably wait on the whole ‘saving the city thing’ if you’re going to be drinking though -safety first, right?!
9. Disney Princesses & Villains Drinks
Disney princesses and villains more your style? Check out this whole list of options to choose from. The Siren song of the Little Mermaid looks super refreshing with it’s shaved ice.

10. Bantha Milk

11. The White Walker
We’ll just keep going with the themes. How about a whole slew of Game of Thrones themed drinks? I know you’re missing the series and having withdrawals. Help ease the pain with these.
