Welcome back to another unboxing review of the 1Up Box monthly subscription box for geeks! The theme for this month was Genius. I have to say this month’s box was by far my favorite I’ve received! Let’s dive right in to the geek contents.

The Contents

1. T-shirt
You guys are probably aware by now if you’ve ready my prior reviews, that they’re shirts tend to go a little off the deep end. Sure, they’re super geeky, but when you mix 3 unrelated fandoms into one, it can get confusing and odd…like placing Link and Darth Vader in Super Mario Land.

This month’s shirt combined elements again, but in a way that makes sense; 3 DC comic characters -including Flash, Superman, and Batman. In my opinion, I think they came together to make a creative superhero shirt design.

2. Comic Magnets
These magnets are good quality and will definitely be able to hold up notes and pictures on our fridge. They’ll add a nice pop of color and whimsy to our kitchen.

3. Flash Patch
I’m not much of a patch person, but this is a nice, quality patch! I have a friend or two who would greatly enjoy this item.

4. Ironman Cord Climber
There were four character option possibilities and I ended up with Ironman…works for me! This little guy is cute and fun and I can’t wait to bring him to work with me.

5. Superhero Headphones
These were probably my favorite item in the box as I thought they were quite unique (maybe I live in a hole? haha). They’re colorful and super nerdy; what more could you ask for?!

All in all I had an entertaining time opening up this month’s box! And I look forward to receiving my next one in the mail.
