Calendar of Geek Holidays and Nerdy Anniversaries

 In General Geekiness

Every geek fandom has its own special days of celebration throughout the year. I’ve compiled a Google calendar to keep track of all these fabulous days to better plan out my upcoming nerd holidays and geek parties.

From character birthdays (like Hobbit Day for Frodo and Bilbo Baggins) to commemorating the day the Nintendo 64 was first released, my calendar is full of geek-tastic dates. Take a peak and feel free to add it to your own Google calendar so that you can get notifications of upcoming events. Here’s the URL: https://calendar.google.com/calendar/embed?src=lotv3avo78eqdg1inrs117t1vg%40group.calendar.google.com&ctz=America/Chicago

Here’s a straight agenda view for a quick look at all the days coming up next.

This calendar is by no means complete. If I’ve missed one of your favorite fandom holidays or geek anniversaries, please let me know in the comments below!

Which fandom day do you celebrate every year?!

You don’t have N7 Day! (November 7th) I’m a huge Mass Effect fan and this is one I always add to my calendar.

Thank you for still maintaining this page! I’m working on trying to find a bunch of space and women-focused “nerdy” days. Could you add the following?
International Day of Human Space Flight- April 12
    National Astronaut Day- May 5
Space Day- May 7 for 2021 (this changes year to year, it’s the first Friday in May)
International Women in Engineering Day (INWED)- June 23
    International Asteroid Day- June 30
    World Space Week: October 4-10

Will you add dates that are not fix, like Batman’s day? I think it’s third Saturday in September…
