With the season 5 premiere of Game of Thrones occurring this past Sunday, I thought this week would be the perfect opportunity to do a couple Game of Thrones (A Song of Ice & Fire) inspired everyday cosplays. I decided to recreate Margaery Tyrell and Jon Snow. Read on for these two inspired looks!

For my first look, I decided to create an everyday outfit forMargaery Tyrell. Not only is she beautiful and elegant, but she’s also smart and cunning; a wicked combination. Living in northern Minnesota, the weather is just now starting to get nice; this inspired me to want to create a summer fun look.

This outfit is fairly simple overall but very cute and stylish. The basic chambray dress is brought to the next level with a deep-v and a couple cutouts that add interest without being over done. Pair the outfit with a set of gladiator sandals and some rose inspired golden jewelry (straight from Highgarden of course!) and you’re ready for a day on the town.

For my second look, I wanted to do a male oufit. Given all the armor and heavy gear most of the males constantly wear in the series, this one was a bit more of a challenge.

I’m not the biggest fan of leather pants and jackets on guys, so I decided to go a different direction. I instead decided to bring in a fake fur through a lined sweater hoodie. Embrace the cold north and a life in black on the wall with this look. Pull everything together with a subtle ‘direwolf’ belt buckle.
